Oatmeal

  • Purpose: For smooth and relaxed skin
  • What's it Secret: Holds beta glucan that is a fiber, which produces a fine layer preserving moisture on the skin's surface.natural beauty
  • Use: Put some whole oats in a neat washable cloth and tighten it with a rubber band for safety. Then, dip the bag in tepid water and compress it 4 to 5 times. Do so until the water turns dull gray and then splatter it on your face. Now, dry up your face. If you are using a towel, do so with a gently pat rather than rubbing.

Avocado Oil

  • Purpose: For reviving dry and sensitive skin
  • What's it Secret: Holds plenty of fatty acids that maintain the moisture levels in the skin and antioxidants such as vitamin A, C, and E that guard the skin from any blemish.
  • Use: Mix avocado oil and evening-primrose oil (stimulating collagen synthesis due to gamma linoleic acid) equally in an air-tight bottle. Then, shake it well and apply 5 or 6 drops of it on a neat skin for massage. Lastly, veil your face until 60 seconds under a warm cloth so that oils get into your skin.

  • Use: Combine quarter cup shelled walnuts, half cup olive oil supporting more emollients, and 1 tablespoon honey (for settling moisture) via a low-speed food processor until a fine scrub is made. Apply the scrub on your feet under shower and hands above the sink for some minutes. Lastly, wash them using tepid water.

Orange

  • Purpose: For moisturizing dry skin on knees and elbows
  • What its Secret: Holds fruit acid that releases skin cells that are no longer alive.
  • Use: Make two pieces of fresh orange and take the juice of one. Then, mix quarter cup crushed sugar and olive oil to form a scrub full of moisture. Now, massage on the knees, elbows, and other dry areas using the second piece and then rub the scrub. Lastly, wash using warm water and pat dry.

Milk

  • Purpose: For calming and softening dry and sensitive skin
  • What its Secret: Holds lactic acid that is a mild exfoliant and fat content that moisturizes the body.
  • Use: Take a tub full of tepid water and pour 1 gallon of milk. Then, just immerse yourself in it. For some fragrance, you can add 15 to 20 drops of lavender oil. This is the best option against sugar and salt scrubs that are risky for people having eczema or psoriasis.
